"Ace Is a Spade" is a 1991 song recorded by Overweight Pooch.
The single was written by Tonya Davis herself, along with Felipe Delgado, a producer of the Pooch's debut album. Originally titled just "Ace a Spade", the track was picked as the second single from Female Preacher set, and contained samples of "New Day" and the James Brown's hit "Soul Power" from 1971[1] that charted at number three in the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart,[2]
